What do I expect on my first visit?

During the first visit is when most of the work will be done, including:

    Taking a medical history and pt. Information

    Performing the pelvic exam and ultrasound

    Doing the necessary lab work

    Obtain written consent

    Counseling patient on procedure and what to expect. Explaining "do's and     don'ts" until the follow up visit. Instructing patient on how to self-administer the     misoprostol at home. Giving the abortion pill.
